Billy Ray Cyrus, Tish Cyrus Divorcing

People magazine is reporting that the parents of pop star Miley Cyrus will be divorcing. Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus have been married for 17 years.

As you can imagine, this is a very difficult time for our family," they say in a statement. "We are trying to work through some personal matters. We appreciate your thoughts and prayers."

Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus reportedly filed divorce papers in Tennessee on Wedensday.
Miley Cyrus has yet to comment on the divorce.
