Miley Cyrus is in trouble yet again for posing for what could be seen as a racist photograph. The singer is seen posing with her boyfriend and some friends and some of them are making a gesture with their eyes that could be seen as a 'slanty-eyed gesture' that is usually racist against Asian Pacific Americans.
The OCA group is really angry about the photo, saying it is 'offensive and stereotypical gesture'.
The OCA sent us this statement: "The photograph of Miley Cyrus and other individuals slanting their eyes currently circulating the Internet is offensive to the Asian Pacific American community and sets a terrible example for her many young fans. This image falls within a long and unfortunate history of people mocking and denigrating individuals of Asian descent...
What do you think?

I'm not surprised people are mad at her for doing that especially when shes a role model for kids.
I personally dont think its that big of a deal. But thats just me... Maybe because I'm used to it.

follow the link, look at the photo and compare it to thousands on the web, the girl in the photo is not miley cyrus, very poor reporting for TMZ

I have never found Miley offensive. I love her and think she is a good role model for my kids. I believe there are some bad and good influences around the young pop-star. It is a shame that as adults, and as a parent, we can not protect her from everything.

wow. for the mom who said no more hanna if its true. thats ridiculous. what little kid hasnt made a slanty eyed face. she prob wasnt doing it to be offensive. and if your precious little girl doesnt see it maybe she wont be a serial killer when she grows. hide the picture as much as you can. you are pathetic.

I am 1/2 Korean (and 1/2 puerto rican btw, but look very asian), I live in Southern California, and the only thing about this picture that offends me is that people are calling it racist.
I have no idea who this woman or her organization are, but I frankly don't need to learn more. This proves that she has no credibility and that the organization is a joke.
People do the Nazi salute all the time, and they are protected by law. A famous teenager makes a silly face that (probably does not) mock Asians and she faces a lawsuit?!?!?!
Why not focus on the KKK rather than a kid just being a kid?
And who discriminates against Asians these days, anyway? In my entire life the only cruel treatment I ever endured were two classmates in elementary school: one always called me Charlie (despite the fact that I'm not vietnamese) and the other used to come up to me and say "chin chon pow mow chink tong bong." Both of them grew up, and one of them even learned Japanese, moved to Japan, and is now practicing medicine in a clinic for lower income families. If I had less sense about me, I would have held a grudge and became just like this miserable excuse for a person/human rights activists. Instead, I got over it, and we all grew up to be friends.
Rampant bigotry against Asians? What world do these people live in? We are basically the same as whites these days.

Ok this is stupid, every kid dose the Aisan eye thing at one point, I know that I did when i was younger and you proboly did two thats no reason to stop your kids from watching there shows or charge someone. So are the people who carged miley in the first place gona charge many thousands of other people? well if there gona carge one person its not far because many thousands of people do it I know my teens they do all the time, with there friends
but thats my opinin
