Miss Universe 2010: NBC Broadcasting From Mandalay Bay Resort, Las Vegas
It is a battle of beauty and to some extent, brain between 83 beauty contest winners, contestants, from six continents all hoping to be crowned Miss Universe 2010. The question is who are favorites and what are the chances of Miss USA 2010 winner, Rima Fakih.
South Americans have dominated the Miss Universe competition in recent years.
The winner will replace Miss Universe 2009 Stefania Fernandez, who gave Venezuela a second consecutive win by taking the title at age 18 last year. The South American country has won six titles since the pageant started in 1952.
As for Miss USA 2010, Rima Fakih, it is unclear what her chances of wining Miss Universe 2010 are because a recent photo scandal. Sexy photos of Rima Fakih doing a pole dance surfaced after she was crowned Miss USA 2010.
Miss Universe 2010 will be broadcast on NBC and Telemundo Monday night in a two hour special starting at 9 pm EST.
