Miss Universe 2010 Start Time TV Schedule, Predictions For Winner

Miss Universe 2010 Will Be Broadcast From Las Vegas on Monday August 23

The two-hour special will be shown on NBC and Telemundo and will start at 9pm EST.

Natalie Morales and Bret Michaels are hosting the show, which will broadcast from Mandalay Bay in sin city.

It is of course, anyones' guess who might be crowned Miss Universe on Monday night, but speculation on the Internet has been rising that Philippines contestant Venus Raj may just take the title. She is currently first in the online rankings (at the time of publication), followed closely by Claudia Arce Lemaitre from Bolovia, and then Marelisa Gibson from Venezuela.

Sadly, the main reason for this increase in online voting about Venus Raj (although she was very popular before) is mainly due to the hostage taking that killed eight people including the gunman Rolando Mendoza.

That is not to take away from Raj's chances of winning however, and the winner of Miss Universe 2010 could still be anyone.

Other favorites include Jimena Navarrete from Mexico, Rossana Purcell from Ireland, Yendi Phillipps from Jamaica, Irina Antonenko from Russia and Jessica Scheel from Guatemala.
