Model Poonam sued for offering to go naked

Punjabi model Poonam Pande has created a flurry by offering to go naked not only in the auditorium but also in the players’ dressing room if India won the semi final match against Pakistan in Mohali. She has repeated this bumper offer now. She has promised to streak if India won over Sri Lanka in the final in Mumbai.

While youth smacked their lips waiting for that to happen, some serious guys disliked the way she was offering her nakedness awkwardly. A lawyer has filed a suit against her, charging her of making an indecent proposal. He says Punam has brought down the honour of the Brahmin community. He has also filed a case against Vijaya Maliya owner of King Fisher in the Chief Magistrate’s court of Bhopal, for bringing out an obscene calendar of the modal. He says Vijaya Maliya’s aksi  has a role in Poonam shamelessly offering to go naked.   

The lawyer asked the court to punish Punam Pande for not only disrespecting the Brahmin community, but also going against the Hindu traditions. Hearing of the case was posted to April 5.
