Mona Lisa Eyes: Hidden Numbers And Letters Revealed In The Eyes Of The Mona Lisa
In a page taken straight from the Da Vinci code, art historians have unearthed what appear to be letters and numbers in the eyes of the Mona Lisa.
The Mona Lisa, the 16th century masterpiece by Leonardo Da Vinci, is on display at the Louvre in Paris.
Art historians found that by magnifying high-resolution images of Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece, symbols can be seen. "To the naked eye the symbols are not visible, but with a magnifying glass they can clearly be seen," said Silvano Vinceti, president of Italy's National Committee for Cultural Heritage.
The letters were created in black with a very fine brush.
Behind the right pupil of the unknown woman called Mona Lisa are the letters L, V — Leonardo's initials. Her left pupil is more of a mystery — Vinceti said the letters there are either B, S, or C, E.
The art expert also claims to have found the number 72, or possibly L2, under the bridge that appears behind her.
The actual name of the Mona Lisa is believe Lisa Gherardini, the wife of Francesco del Giocondo. a wealthy silk merchant from Tuscany.
The sitter's identity was ascertained at the University of Heidelberg in 2005 by a library expert who discovered a 1503 margin note written by Agostino Vespucci.[18] Scholars have been of many minds, identifying at least four different paintings as the Mona Lisa[19][20][21] and several people as its subject. Leonardo's mother Caterina in a distant memory, Isabella of Naples or Aragon,[22] Cecilia Gallerani,[23] Costanza d'Avalos, Duchess of Francavilla who was also called the "merry one" or La Gioconda,[21] Isabella d'Este, Pacifica Brandano or Brandino, Isabela Gualanda, Caterina Sforza, and Leonardo himself have all been named the sitter.[9][24] Today the subject's identity is held to be Lisa, which has always been the traditional view.[18]

Actually, I find this idea quite intriguing. What if all the greatest artists, engineers, musicians, architects and politicians knew about some code? What if they're trying to tell us something? Could the Bermuda Triangle be part of it? What if the Mona Lisa, the Vitruvian Man, the Legislative Buildings, some of the great pieces of music, the US one dollar bill and many other things contain some code? Anyway, think about it for a bit...

Hi Leonardo lived in France which was invaded by Spain. There where books burned and people where not allowed to practice the Christian religion so it was hidden in paintings in the 1400's. My discovery up to date and still researching is as follows: Dated this day 19th January 2011 by Valerie Berry. The Title is "Do you see what I see"? Mona Lisa's chest does not look right on the top right side where her hair falls with curls underneath you will notice a face with a beard that is curly, this picture of the face is looking at a very tiny painting of a Nubian woman or other standing, above the face on the left just under the Mona Lisa's chin is a nipple ( quite large ). This then leads down to on the left a face of a baby, just under the hair of the Mona Lisa. Opposite her left shoulder there are a few people with crosses in long robes (these crosses are painted so fine and can hardly be seen by the naked eye). These people are engaged in a meeting and a person standing that looks like they are preaching. Her hair on the left carries red roses just opposite the left in the background are painted dragons with wings. Just above the dragons is a stone house and above that it appears to be a painting of a city with tall steeple buildings. Below that sit two people holding something they appear to be in a cave. As you make your way down on the left side near the elbow painted in red and other colours there is a face with eyes nose and mouth. This painting is around the size of a fifty cent piece. On the right shoulder there is a face of an Arab and just next to the Arab if you turn the painting around there is a picture of a bird with long beak. Where the hands are placed with her left hand index finger is red in colour (looks like blood). Below her left hand is a pedestal or so appears but it reveals the eyes of an eagle or owl with two eyes and beak. There are numerous mathmatical letters to be found and words that are written in the Mona Lisa to complex to explain here. The words and numbers led me to GEPOL. Molecular volumes and surfaces of biomacromolecules via GEPOL: A fast and effecient algorithm - The Department of Physical Chemistry, Uppsala University Sweden. Abstract as follows: A triangular tesselation approach to build up surfaces has been adapted to study of biomolecules. by using a data-coded generic pentakisdodecahedron each atom is assigned a particular sphere whose radii are chosen according to any suitable property. Different types of surfaces have been adapted to this method: van der Waals, surface accessible, and Richards molecular surface. A simple method is used to eliminate all triangles found at the intersection volume of the atomic spheres and a fast algorithm is employed to calculate the area of the envelope surface and the volume therein. The data about the surface are given by the coordinates of the centre of each triangle, elementary surface value, and vector co-oordinates of the normal surface. Colour coding of standard properties such as charge densities graphic libraries. Fairly detailed information on vector properties, such as electric field and atom velocity, can also be graphically represents by using projection along the normals with adequate colour coding. if in her right eyes is the letter L and V but in her left eye is B,C,E or S I think the mystery is Leonardo Da Vinchi's name! L and V are used for Leonardo and Vinchi and the letter in her left eye is D, it has to be because if it is, it will be LDV which is Leonardo Da Vinchi. I love art so much and I want to be an artist when I grow up! I have lots of ideas of paintings! I'm not quite sure about this comment, but I think it's possible. I'm not sure about the number 72 or L2 that apears under the bridge behind her, but The Mona Lisa might be the 72nd painting of him.
