This looks funny. But God knows, it's not. It's a tragedy.

The deputy mayor of the Indian capital Delhi died on Sunday after being attacked by a horde of wild monkeys.

SS Bajwa suffered serious head injuries when he fell from the first-floor terrace of his home on Saturday morning trying to fight off the monkeys.

The city has long struggled to counter its plague of monkeys, which invade government complexes and temples, snatch food and scare passers-by.

The High Court demanded the city find an answer to the problem last year.

Solution elusive

One approach has been to train bands of larger, more ferocious langur monkeys to go after the smaller groups of Rhesus macaques.

The city has also employed monkey catchers to round them up so they can be moved to forests.

But the problem has persisted.

Culling is seen as unacceptable to devout Hindus, who revere the monkeys as a manifestation of the monkey god Hanuman, and often feed them bananas and peanuts.

Urban development around the city has also been blamed for destroying the monkeys' natural habitat.

Mr Bajwa, a member of the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), is survived by his wife and a son, according to the Press Trust of India news agency.

Never under estimate mans under-study in evolution! They may be cute, funny and all that a monkey does! Most people think they do not understand the who, how and where to go to get the results, they need to survive. Well I do! As a result they took out a king pin opponent or a level below the mark as a warning to others.

People need to understand what has been forgot all to much. Learn to coexist with your environment. By doing this we create a peace and flow of a natural order within the environment with everyones needs being satisfied. (ideally)
If someone where to push a human out of there home and into the wild, they would go to family, friends or move to a place that we can survive - even if they had to travel 1,000 miles or go to another continent! If we had to we would, history of humanity does prove this result all over the place.

Those monkey, do not have the luxury that man has had and this is the only home that they understand and know.

All these monkeys are saying is: leave us alone and we will do the same.

Monkey see - monkey do, They watch and learn from our actions. Now is this the result of what they see us doing to each other, also ?????????
