Morrissey Storms Off Stage In Rage After Bottle Is Thrown At Him

Former Smiths frontman Morrissey stormed off stage after someone threw a bottle and hit him in a live performance in Liverpool. Morrissey said "goodnight" to the 8,000 audience after he took the hit on the head. Fans were disappointed that the concert was canceled during his second song.

Fans chanted "Morrissey, Morrissey, Morrissey," trying to bring him back after the bottle incident but failed.

Some fans were displeased, and thought he shouldn't have over reacted.

Iain Kavanagh, 33, from Liverpool, said: 'Some people were complaining afterwards because he's been in the game for years and he should be used to it by now.

'But he's a 50-year-old man who has just been ill and he deserves better than that.'

Those who were at the concert were advised to contact their ticket vendors to see if they can get their money back.

Morrissey, 50, has had a bad streak on stage. Three weeks ago he collapsed on the stage in Swindon due to respiratory illness and was rushed to hospital.
