NP Rank:
Mortal Kombat Rebirth
Back in January it was reported that Warner Bros was rebooting the Mortal Kombat film series. Now there's someone who wants to helm the movie and is going to the internet for support. On Monday a mysterious video was uploaded on YouTube. It featured known actors (like Michael Jai White and Jeri Ryan) in what many assumed was a trailer for a new Mortal Kombat game. Since E3, a major game expo, is next week it made sense. However, it is now being reported that the video is actually a pitch by director Kevin Tancharoen (Fame remake) to sell his vision of the project to Warner Bros. The video is nearing one million hits and has been met with mostly positive feedback, so only time will tell if Tancharoen lands the job.

we need this...this is something that adults have been waiting for...the people that played mortal kombat games and watch the cheesy movies in the 90's are adults now ...we should see mortal kombat for what it always been, but a alternate version...it is time..Mortal Kombat rebirth is giving the anticipation of what we as "80 babies" are looking for. Warner give it the greenlight..Make a movie that's going to make millions than make chump change..Because splice is not one of them million dollar movies.
