Is this the most expensive beer in the world? Probably...
If there’s a world recession in progress, then someone forgot to tell Carlsberg about it. While many companies are slashing prices, the Danish brewer has unveiled the world’s most expensive beer. Priced at 2008DKK (approx USD $350), the Jacobsen Vintage No. 1 is a limited edition brew for any beer drinkers who still feel like splashing out.
Carlsberg are aiming their beer at upscale restaurants in Denmark and have created quite a stir with their recession-busting brew.
More details and tasting notes, as well as a list of what else you could spend your $350 beer money on, is at Legends Of Beer - http://legendsofbeer.wordpress.com/2009/01/31/probably-the-most-expensive-beer-in-the-world/.

Hm - lets keep beer the way beer is supposed to taste like instead of fiddling around with caramel, vanilla and port. It is BEER! Not wine! ARGH!
