Oh yeah, baby, Motley Crüe is hitting the road this summer to bring their deafening rock love to legions of their most ardent and already hard of hearing headbanger fans.

I still remember getting the 'Dr. Feelgood' tape in the mail as part of my first order of "13 tapes for a penny" from the Columbia Record & Tape Club. And my life has never been the same since Vince.
Promising "the loudest show on Earth," Motley Crue is hitting the road with a 41-city "curated" festival called Crue Fest.

Taking a page from Ozzy Osbourne's Ozzfest, Motley Crue plans to tour North America with fellow rockers Papa Roach, Buckcherry, Sixx:AM and Trapt.

"We've been wanting to do this forever," Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee said Tuesday in Los Angeles as the band announced the tour. "And we're finally doing it."

Canadian dates confirmed so far include Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Toronto. Canadian Press also mentions Sarnia, Ont., though that is not confirmed.

The 41-city tour kicks off July 2 in West Palm Beach, Fla.

The four original members — Lee, singer Vince Neil, bassist Nikki Sixx and guitarist Mick Mars — reunited in 2004 and toured with Aerosmith in 2006.
