Preston FM is a community radio station, reflecting all of Preston's many communities, and giving everybody the chance to get their voice heard, and their message across. The possibilities are only limited by your imagination.

The project is currently in its fourth year of working with other community organisations, as well as individual volunteers, to provide the following:

A new Community Radio station, broadcasting on FM and over the Internet, serving the city of Preston.

A Lancashire author is to have her first novel serialised on a community radio station. Mr Planemaker's Flying Machine, by former Balshaws High School pupil Shelagh Watkins, will begin airing on May 11 at 8.20am every Monday to Friday on Preston FM's Chat City.

All the daily episodes will then be repeated in an omnibus edition at 5pm each Sunday.
