Mr. President: VEGAS IS A REAL BARGAIN!

The recent comments by the President criticizing companies like Wells Fargo who accepted a piece of the "BailOut Pie" for planning their convention business in Vegas were not appreciated by Mayor Oscar Goodman, rightfully so.
According to local newsman Ron Futrell on a KDOX broadcast, Wells Fargo followed the President's intimidating advice and cancelled their convention in Vegas....at the cost of $600,000.00. Then they moved it to San Francisco where the prices were really jacked up since San Fran knew they had Wells Fargo by the horns. So what did it really cost?
Futrell also revealed that word has it State Farm has decided to cancel their convention later this year in Las Vegas in an effort to please the President. No place in the USA has the rooms, facilities and entertainment offerings of Las Vegas, Nevada..."The Entertainment, Trade Show and Convention Capital of the World."
So before you or your company decides to take your people to somewhere else, check the prices, facilities and entertainment options at any other location in this country. And you will certainly decide...VEGAS, BABY! You do not have to drink, gamble or carry on with wild folks to enjoy a wonderful time in Vegas. So much for so little cost all in one convenient location. If we all need anything in this economy, it is someplace we can go to unwind, laugh and create lasting memories to share forever.
Vegas has always been a bargain and more fun than any place else on the planet to hold meetings or whatever. I did not hear the President correct any bailed out companies for holding their conventions in Chicago.
We in Vegas love our tourists and treat them like hometown folks. In fact, if you go to http://www.LasVegasLasVegasUSA.info ,you will hear in the lyrics of the soundtrack exactly what kind of people live and work in the Best City of them ALL! Come see us. We'll leave the lights on just for you!
