MTV Michael Jackson Marathon: Music Video Tribute

MTV is running a Michael Jackson music video marathon through tonight (ending Friday, 8pm Eastern). Micahel Jackson revolutionized music videos, from Thriller to Black or White to Beat It to Scream. MTV, meanwhile, has shifted its programming to reality television, so this tribute marathon returns the network to its roots.

BET, which like MTV is operated by Viacom, is also showing special coverage of Mr. Jackson’s death today. The program, called “Don’t Stop Til’ You Get Enough,” is playing all day on the channel.

MTV Hits, MTV Jams and VH1 Classic, three digital off-shoots, will be wall-to-wall with Mr. Jackson’s videos all weekend.

Come on, you all know the Michael Jackson Thriller zombie monster dance, and you just started doing it when you read this.

I have not been able to express my thoughts. My brother and I grew up with his music. We loved him so. His music will live on with us in our hearts. You will be greatly missed Michael.

It is hard to express my feeling for the fallen king of pop. I am very upset i was going to see mj in concert in january next year he was practically a father to me i cryed for days and now the world seems like a more dark and cold place now that he is gone but the thing to remember is that he is at peace (moonwalking through the heavens) and we shall allway remember the musical genius the king of pop that was Michael Jackson.

I love Michael and its hard to beleive that he's gone.. His death was such a shock to me, and everyone. I hope he's in peace in Heaven.. R.I.P. Michael J. Jackson 1958-2009. He will be missed and NEVER be forgotten.

I am Michael's biggest fan and when I heard the news I was torn up. I felt that someone had driven a wooden stke in my heart. I dont know if I will ever forget this tragedy. It was a complete shock to me. I could hardly think. I didnt kno wat 2 think. All I kno is that I will love him forever and nothing nor nothing is going to tel me otherwise.
