mom came to town for the weekend, with a little betty crocker magazine full of ridiculous halloween junk food concoctions to make and bake. eli picked these, and the task fell to me. i don't normally do this sort of thing -note the burned edges of the cookies. in this case, however, i feel the charring just contributes to the overall effect.
