Musical prodigy from old Iron Curtain eyes new American dream
LOS ANGELES, CA -- He was a musical prodigy who grew up in Budapest, Hungary, behind the now-demolished Iron Curtain. Now he is a successful man who still wants to experience the American dream.
In an indepth article in the May/June issue of Exceptional People Magazine, acclaimed music composer Levente Egry states that he is ready to bring his talent to Hollywood.
"At age 12, I pretended to conduct the Star Wars soundtrack, imagining that I was standing in front of a 200-member orchestra," Egry told Monica Davis, CEO and publisher of Exceptional People Magazine. "I want to perform my first classic-crossover debut album to a packed American audience. I [also] welcome an opportunity to provide the soundtrack for a major motion picture."
After the Iron Curtain was demolished in Hungary in 1989, Egry opened for superstar Michael Jackson.
Egry's extraordinary abilities as a pop artist, classical composer and musician have earned him accolades and many awards, as well as gold, platinum and diamond-selling albums.
The founder of the Artofonic Chamber Orchestra in Hungary, Egry is best known throughout Europe for creating the highly-popular and award-winning group, Hip Hop Boyz.
He has already produced music for such international recording artists as American singer/songwriter Anastacia and award-winning Turkish pop star Tarkan.
Egry has a uniqueness about the music he creates. It is aimed to bring back romanticism into the lives of couples who may be going through a rough patch.
With a childhood that parallels that of Michael Jackson's, Egry's music also helps him deal with demons of his own past.
"Life is about constant aspiration for happiness," Egry said. "If only one person is moved positively or a relationship is improved or re-ignited because of the music I create, then my life on this planet had purpose."
