A muscial version of the popular 1990 'Ghost' is set to hit the West End stage in London next year. The film starred Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze and put both these actors on the map of Hollywood stardom.
Bruce Joel Rubin will adapt his original screenplay for the musical, but at exactly what theatre it will open at is unknown at this time.
In the film, couple Sam (Swayze) and Molly (Moore) are mugged on a dark street and Sam is murdered. But he is trapped as a ghost unable to leave Molly, who he learns is in grave danger.
The film is famed for its steamy potter’s wheel scene set to The Righteous Brothers’ Unchained Melody.
