True or false. True is that the killers were Muslims. Did all Muslims commit the attack? No. Did all Muslims promote and agree with the attack? No. Did a specific radical element commit the attack? Yes.

Is O’Reilly a professional instigator or just a right wing instigator provocateur? Both.

“Bill O'Reilly sparks walkout on 'The View'

Ree Hines writes: Television host, political commentator and professional instigator Bill O'Reilly visited "The View" Thursday morning, but shortly after he joined the regulars on stage, two of the women walked off.

During a heated discussion about Park51, the proposed Muslim community center often referred to as the Ground Zero mosque, O'Reilly stated that "Muslims killed us on 9/11." His argument, which moderator Whoopi Goldberg declared to be "bull----," inspired both Goldberg and co-host Joy Behar to simply get up and leave their own set.

Barbara Walters later commented that while she loves her colleagues, "We should be able to have discussions without washing our hands and screaming and walking off stage."

When given her own opportunity to confront O'Reilly, Walters was able to convince him to apologize for his remarks. Kind-of-sort-of. Ish.”

The real problem here is that there were no Muslim leaders present to participate in the debate and confrontation. That was a poor show design, Barbara Walters.

This just goes to show us that the right wing of our political system is nothing of politics at all because the words they spew are NOTHING close to the facts. They twist and lie to attempt to achieve what they want. They are a bunch of school yard idiots making rumors without actually getting ANYTHING done. Bill O'Reilly proved he is a racist pig

Thank you Andy, I agree.

Last time I checked, Islam was a religion, not a race.

Race, color, creed, nationality, gender or any other basis for generalized bigotry

But 'racist' implies discrimination on the grounds of race. Since Islam is not a race , it is not racist to be opposed to it.

To put what you said in one word, "Politician"

Interestingly enough, later in the day, Bill went on his FOX co-hort Glenn Beck's show, trying to pretend he hadn't said what he said.

Maybe, when referring to the Islamic center, Bill will take to intoning some self perceived, cleverly turned phrase, in the vein of his non-stop reference to 'Tiller the baby killer', the phrase Bill O'Reilly intoned for 3 years when referring to the abortion doctor, George Tiller, ultimately murdered by a Right Wing Christian and declared anti abortion crusader, to project his contempt and disdain for that proposed structure as well.

O'Reilly really doesn't deserve the stage does he?

I'd tell you what he "deserves" but I'd probably get arrested. (That was a joke officer)

Funny how it would be a religious-fundamentalist who killed the man? Those religious-"%$)*)'s are VIOLENT! Thou shalt not kill.......Read your Book 'friend'

EVERYONE KNOWS this guy is WAY BELOW a jerk. That is the only TRUE word I can use, without being sued. And anyone who doesn't KNOW he is, is just as as*n-nine. That dude needs to develop a conscience! 1000 bucks says he doesn't know what that is?

It WAS muslims who attacked us....snap out of it people before we get hit again!!! If they hate us so much, why do they want to put their mosque right under our noses...because they know how it will hurt.  Some religion, huh?

"They" are free people in American practicing freedom of belief. About whom are you speaking?

The Muslim citizens of New York?

We call them muslims, they call us infidels...what's the difference? We have freedom of speech in America and if they don't like it, they don't have to build their mosque here and they can go BACK to their country but they won't because it's not so good there. Nobody asked them to come here. GO BACK!

Said that three times.

Bill was right and there is no logical argument against what he said.  Muslims, in the name of Allah, killed 3000 Americans on 9 11.  To build a mosque there is an insult.

The decision to build a mosque there seem insensitive to me as I have said before.

All local building is subject to review and permit procedures.

Where is the Muslim population located in NYC? If it is in that neighborhood, then why should they not have a mosque there?

The presumption seems to be that all Muslims are bad. Is that your point Ron? What percentage of Muslim Americans do you think side with al Qaeda?

@ Ron Bowers(not verified)If an ignorant can not differentiate between lies and arguments, who can help such a semi-literate.

It is more of an insult to the deceased to use them to impede freedom of religion. This country was founded on that principle. To deter from it because people were murdered is ludicrous. We have lost if we do so.

Muslim Population In N.Y.CPosted on May 23, 2007 by waynecookeLeave a comment

Before 1970 there were fewer than ten mosques in New York City—now there are well over a hundred, indicating the rapid growth of New York City’s Muslim population. http://www.columbia.edu/cu/news/01/05/muslim.html

“Numbering an estimated 600,000, Muslims now represent one of the fastest growing religious communities in New York City,” said Peter Awn, co-principal investigator and Columbia University dean of the School of General Studies.http://www.columbia.edu/cu/news/04/09/muslims.html

I was asked by a pastor just the other day what the Muslim population was in New York City.  I hope these links will be of some help. Just another reason for us to get there quicker.
