This is amazing news: My Bloody Valentine have been chosen as the curators of the acclaimed music festival All Tomorrow's Parties' newest event: ATP: Nightmare Before Christmas 2009.
In addition to a headlining performance by MBV, the band has hand-picked its first few bands to join them, including Sonic Youth, De La Soul, EPMD, Sun Ra Arkestra, and The Horrors.
The festival is scheduled to be held in Minehead, England from December 4-6, 2009. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 17th.

Imagine seeing Sonic Youth and Sun Ra at the same event... not sure I could even handle that.
