Natalie Portman Graced the Red Carpet at the Venice Film Festival Promoting Her Latest Film Black Swan

Portman wore a sexy red dress designed by Rodarte while promoting her 'gritty' role in Darren Aronofsky's Black Swan.

The actress is already generating Oscar buzz for her role as Nina who is so caught up in the world of competitive ballet that she becomes mentally unhinged.

"Six months ahead of the film, I went into sort of hyper-training, where five hours a day I was doing both ballet and cross-training, with swimming," Portman tells Britain's Press Association. "A few months before was when we started getting into the choreography. It was very extreme."

There is also talk about her lesbian sex scene with co-star Mila Kunis, which Aronofsky described to Portman as 'a sex scene with yourself'.

The reviews so far for Black Swan have been very positive for the film and for Portman.
