A woman whose son was killed in a tragic accident at Tonbridge station earlier this year, was denied a plaque in his memory by staff at Network Rail.

Not only this, but the gates that would have prevented his death, have not been put back up.

She is disgusted and will contact her MP Sir John Stanley.

Beaulieu will contact Network Rail for their comments and as well asask what their policy is towards memorialsfor passengers, as there is no problem having memorials for staff, or even station cats,

The Railway Gazette, TSSA and CRUSE bereavement care have been informed.
