New Book: Star of David Album

Three months after publishing his Hebrew book Magen David Black & White Israeli author Ze’ev Barkan (59) just published his English book titled Star of David Album. The book is about the pictorial history of the six-pointed star symbol (64 pages, color, private edition) since Sumer until today. The book is based on Ze’ev Barkan’s blog (http://star-of-david.blogspot.com/search?q=English+Books+) which contains about 2000 postings and “is dedicated to the Star of David, its history, its various meanings and usages in various cultures”; it’s writing was influenced by Dr. Ze’ev Goldmann who celebrated this week his 103 birthday.
