Kate Gosselin, mother and reality show star John & Kate Plus 8, followed by Kate Plus 8 after the couple divorced and before the show was canceled, is now the center of her own TLC series called Twist of Kate.

In the new series, Kate will visit the homes and workplaces of women who have written in to the show describing their challenges as mothers and exchange insights and coping strategies.

The network announced today that the season will start in late summer and feature 12 episodes.

Kate Gosselin has most recently appeared on this season's Dancing with the Stars on ABC. Not only has she received less-than-enthusiastic reviews, but her ex-husband is now suing for full custody of their 8 children, claiming Kate's neglect due to the celebrity time commitments. 

After watching the couple's crumbling marriage on national television, and the constant battles that continue to make headlines between the couple, some wonder what 'insight' the reality star has that is worth sharing.
