"Twilight" actor Taylor Lautner's new film "Valentine's Day" will soon be released in theatres, but it turns out his "New Moon" co-star Alex Meraz isn't a fan of the new romantic comedy. Meraz took to his Twitter account, @TheAlexMeraz, in order to share his opinion about the latest rom-com and he definitely didn't hold back. Meraz wrote that he thought Lautner's new movie "Valentine's Day" looked "lame and desperate." He also suggests within his tweet that the movie is just another excuse for A-list celebrities or romantic comedy regulars to get media buzz once again.

Sorry Taylor but the movie "valentines day" looks lame and desperate it cries out"look we have all the biggest starz in 1movie pleez watch!" about 15 hours ago from web

"Valentine's Day" hits theatres on February 12 and tells the story of various couples and characters and how their lives intertwine on one Valentine's Day. The film, directed by Gary Marshall, stars many big-name actors such as: Jessica Alba, Kathy Bates, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Eric Dane, Patrick Dempsey, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher, Queen Latifah, George Lopez, Taylor Lautner, Taylor Swift and many more.

Meraz plays the role of wolfpack member Paul in the popular second installment of The Twilight Saga - "New Moon." Lautner plays Jacob Black, his wolfpack brother within the film. The two actors have also worked together on "Eclipse" which is the third Twilight film set to be released in summer 2010. They will reprise their roles once more in the film-adaptation of Stephenie Meyer's final Twilight novel entitled "Breaking Dawn." Hopefully there won't be any hard feelings between Lautner and Meraz as they'll be working together for at least another few years.
