New Moon Official Premiere In LA Tonight: MySpace Live Stream
It's finally here! Well, almost. New Moon will officially premiere in LA tonight before the public premiere this Friday November 20th. Tonight's premiere will be a media frenzy of red carpet pre-screening interviews and photo calls for director Chris Weitz and actors Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner.
Some lucky fans will be able to see the red carpet events live if they managed to score golden tickets after camping outside the Mann's Villiage Theatre and Bruin Theatre in LA's Westwood Villiage area. As for the rest of us? We're in luck. Summit's MySpace page will be live streaming the entire red carpet event online.
An estimated 500 fans were already arriving to camp out on Thursday night for the today's premiere. With tents, blankets, and determination, Twilight fans were out in full force this weekend. Fans who camped out have already had a chance to meet some of the New Moon stars who stopped by to visit over the weekend.
Alex Meraz (Paul), Cameron Bright (Alec), and Kiowa Gordon (Embry) each stopped by the line of fans to say hi and thank them for their dedication. New cast members of the Twilight franchise in particular seem to be humbled and awed by the fan response to the New Moon premiere. New cast member and Volturi vampire Jamie Campbell Bower (Caius) posted this message on his Twitter:
Heard that there are people already camping out for the New Moon Premiere on Monday. That is utterly amazing. My heart goes out to you. x 5:32 AM Nov 14th from web
Fans worldwide are anticipating tonight's events and already speculating about red carpet wardrobe, interviews, and of course the verdict on New Moon's debut. The big news is that Summit Entertainment will be live streaming the event from their MySpace page, making the LA premiere of New Moon accessible worldwide. New Moon Soundtrack contributor Anya Marina will be hosting the MySpace broadcast. The pre-show is set to begin around 5pm with official red carpet beginning at 6pm.
The unprecedented online access is the first time moviegoers across the globe can experience the premiere first-hand, as it unfolds. Viewers will also be able to take part by posting comments or questions to The Twilight Saga: New Moon Premiere
There will be no shortage of media coverage, however, so fans needn't fret about missing a beat of tonight's events in LA. MTV has already posted on their site today that they will be live blogging the event as of 8pm tonight:
If you're not currently camping out in line waiting for Kristen, Robert, Taylor and Co. to make their grand entrances, then make sure to get your own premiere experience by coming back here to Hollywood Crush starting at 8 p.m. ET for our LIVE BLOG. MTV News' Larry Carroll plus a team of "Twilight"-trained professionals will be reporting live from the carpet, so don't miss a beat!
So just how big is New Moon going to be? It's going to be huge. New Moon currently holds the number one spot on Fandango.com's list of advance ticket sales. New Moon will be the company's biggest selling pre-release within the last decade. Regardless of the reviews and the critics, New Moon is set to break records this week with advance screenings beginning Thursday and the official opening this coming Friday.
Will you be going to see New Moon? Feel free to weigh in later this week with comments and thoughts on the second film in The Twilight Saga.

I just recently saw the first movie. I was surprised at how good it was. Still I'm surprised in on course to beat records this weekend . I did not see that coming at all.
