New Sirius XM Radio Channels 2011: Guide To New Sirius Lineup
Sirius XM Radio Has Changed Its Channel Lineup on May 4, 2011. Here is Some Info On The New Sirius Radio Channel Lineup
Sirius XM radio users may have noticed that things may have sounded a little differently as of May 4, 2011. That's because Sirius XM Radio has changed its channel lineup, shuffling some of its most popular channels to new spots on the dial.
Why Are They Changing the Sirus XM Channel Numbers?
Several reasons. The company claims they're trying to make "many of the channel numbers consistent whether you have a Sirius or an XM radio." They also say they're changing "channel numbers so that the array of programming choices we offer will be grouped together based on their genre or content type."
According to Sirius XM radio, most preset stations should "automatically 'point' to the new channel locations."

Thank you for not taking the Enlighten Channel off. I listen to it all day at work and in my truck going home. Only music on the radio with hope in it. Thank you again. Devoted Listener Roger Brown

We have listened to American Standards, Rat Pack and Sinatra throughout the years and are extremely disappointed that it is not available. Please tell us you will bring it back soon.

Love the easy listening channels, escape, love etc. cannot find escape at all now and do not like the slections being played on love channel. Please send a new guide in your bills next time. Need more easy listening channels for those who do not care for hard rock and loud music. Thanks

With your new updated station numbers, I am now missing the following: 11, 12, 13, 19, 20, 21, 23, 24, 41, 45, 57, 70, 71, 74, 163, 164, 805 What is going on? I pay for music package only and was told I wouldn't lose any stations when converting.

Why not group the kinky, uncensored, adult-only stuff all together at the end of the dial. This will make it convenient for those that are wanting to hear that stuff, but it will keep me from crossing x-rated material when I have kids in the car. As far as I am concerned XM was so much better before Sirius messed it up.
