I have to admit that fashion is something that doesn't catch my attention. Most of the time I find style items overpriced (ie: $1000 for a simple Gore-Tex ski jacket... seriously, is it going to clean my house?), and I end up buying stuff because I feel comfortable and/or it is useful (ok, I also buy them because they are cheap :D )

Don't get me wrong, I check myself in the mirror every morning to make sure that all the pieces of clothing that I have thrown on my body match.

Ok, let's get back to the point...

Nike has launched NIKEiD, an application that lets you design your own shoes. Although right now the application is limited to a set of shoes and a set of colors, it is an awesome step forward. You can know (potentially) wear the colours that you really like, even if they don't match.

One last detail before you jump to their site, if you are an English speaker/writer and you are living in Canada, you are going to be disappointed with their "country selector" (I also tried French, we are not there)

I leave you now with my NowPublic design :D
