Nintendo has revealed the latest upgrade for their wildly popular portable gaming console; going on sale November 21, the Nintendo DSi LL offers two 4.2 inch screens as compared to the two 3.25 inch screens of the DSi. The console's more sizeable screens add approximately 100g to overall weight of the system, regardless the DSi LL will offer the same battery life as it's smaller predecessors.

The DSi allows gamers to take photos, download games and play music on the device. Any games purchased by users of the DSi cannot be transferred to another games console, meaning that if they choose to upgrade to the DSi LL, they will need to buy all those games again.

The original DS hit the market in 2004, with the DS Lite in 2006, and the DSi coming in 2008 the DSi LL is aimed at a wider audience, hopefully including non-typical gamers like casual elderly gamers who will find solace in the LL's bigger screens.

The Nintendo DSi LL hits shelves in Japan only on November 21, 2009.
