Not Good Enough for "Them"?

Is there anybody out there who really wants a job? Who among home and garden services really wants to work? Is it my unruly home and garden that makes them want run the other way? Is it because they really do have to work to earn that almighty dollar? But that is exactly why I needed to hire the extra help in the first place!   I have noticed the "spiral down" where house cleaners are charging double what they did about ten years ago, but are only doing half the work. They don't seem to do bathrooms anymore from the looks of it, either. My garden is overgrown and needs some real taming, yet those lawn and garden people driving old trucks must be millionaires who just won the lottery because they take my name,  phone number and address and say they will call me back after they finish the present job they are at, and I never hear from them again.  Maybe that is why they still drive old trucks?   Home cleaning companies are sprouting up all over the place like the weeds they are.  It is swish!, swish! --- three hours!? ---"that will be $40 dollars per hour...per person" They seem get annoyed if you want to hang around your own home...(hint, hint)
  Perhaps I am going about it all the wrong way. Maybe I should set up a home and garden service, charge an arm and a leg for it ---  then pick and choose from those houses that have already been pre-cleaned, and those lawns and gardens, already tame and trim.  I hear the hired help talking, with pensiveness about those places, all the time!

Hey, I guess there is easy money to be maid in the home and garden service business! In the meantime, is there anybody who is out there that really wants to work? ---  Mike Holmes, Kim Woodburn and Aggie MacKenzie, aside. Or am I just barking up the wrong tree? I've got a few jobs that need to be done around my unruly home and garden. Perhaps I should give a couple of those garden gnomes a call, instead. I have heard they do work hard, for free!
