Do you remember Now Public before it was full of stupid
advertisements??  Well I do it was beautiful. Real media free of
corporate rule. What now, Mcdonalds ads on the local news feed?
restrictions on what is and what is not news worthy??  There are
many models showing that news doesn't need commercials. Does anybody
here want this place to move on from this deadly corporate
whoredom??  Does anyone have any input on how This place could
survive whithout ugly , ads??  I for one think that we should at
least be able to vote on ads and let now public know what we think
about this digusting move.

 unsatisfied...

you?

Hi thinktank, thanks for your post. NowPublic has already made an announcement about the introduction of advertising on the site and a discussion on this topic has been created in the forums here .
As your post is not a news story, but rather your own opinion on this topic, it would be better to add it to the existing discussion, rather than as a story item on the site.

I have been privately asked (by an editor) to delete this
story...  Interesting that this is the only story that I've been
asked to delete..  very funny that now that we have ads its not OK
to tell it like it is...???? didn't seem like a really hateful story to
me...?

HELP US...

I asked you to remove it because it's not a news story. I didn't want to flag it becuase I understand where you are coming from and didn't think that was necessary. I simply asked that you share your view in the forums, which you did.

This  sounds  like  a  Dave  Allen  joke :  Have  you  ever  noticed  on  the  S U V  advirtisements  on  television , the  vehicles  go  across  the  sand , the  snow  and  the  mud  and  never  get  bogged ........ If  they  do  get  bogged  it  is  censored   on  the  six  o  clock  news  to  keep  Toyota  and  so  on  happy .
