On September 29th, a few hundred lucky NYCitizens watched the Yeah Yeah Yeahs rock out the Music Hall of Williamsburgh in Brooklyn.  The Yeah Yeah Yeahs were touring the NY area and also hit spots like the Radio City Music Hall.

The highlight of their Radio City Hall performance came during the encore, when Karen O announced, "It’s time for a New York City love song" before breaking out into "Maps".

The big moment came with the show’s encore, as a string section joined the band. Karen O said, “It’s time for a New York City love song” and they began to play the gentle, melodic “Maps.” This was followed by a stripped-down version of “Hysteric.” As the strings departed the trio launched into “Y Control” and “Date With the Night” to end the show -- both off their rough-rocking debut album.
