Obama Kills Fly, Enters Fly-Killer Hall of Fame
U.S. President Barack Obama killed a fly on Tuesday, June 17, stunning the world in a completely unexpected pre-emptive strike on the Kingdom of Musca Domestica.
The fly approached during Obama's interview with John Harwood on CNBC, threatening a "thousand-fold" assault on his sense of focus as it buzzed noisily around his head.
A video of Obama's unannounced offensive has gone viral across the Internet, with outraged opposition and disillusioned supporters contributing to a wave of backlash against the formerly-known-as-"calm" politician.
The video of Obama and the fly has been circulating across the web accumulating hundreds of witty comments including jokes of it being a “stunt fly” and other commenters calling the act humane, insisting that the fly died instantly.
PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) has issued a statement regarding the Obama fly-killing:
"He isn't the Buddha, he's a human being and human beings have a long way to go before they think before they act."
You hear that, Obama? Think before you act. Next thing you know, we'll be hearing the fly was harbouring weapons of mass destruction under its wings.
Despite the public outcry, this is not the first time a fly has been so publicly and rashly executed. Obama joins a long line of distinguished company, including the Karate Kid, Belloq of Indiana Jones fame, and Wesley Gibson in the feature film Wanted.

@Blue Crush: Yes, compassion for living things is WACKO. By the way, they responded only because everyone contacted them for a comment. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. If they said it was OK, people would immediately call them hypocrites. If they say, "Hey, he's not a holy man like the Buddha, who would probably not kill a fly.", then they're wacko. I doubt that this incident has cemented your view on them. You have known them to be your enemy for a long time now. Like everyone else, you only want to know about their strongest views. Then you can use those views to turn people against everything they stand for. PETA does good, but most people like strict limits to compassion so their nonchalant lack of knowledge and apathy towards the world can continue to be accepted as healthy.

When I heard that someone actually wrote a bill to say America is sorry to Chinese from as far back as 1800 for making them work long hours and not extending a citizenship. Plus he wants money rewarded to Chinese people. I thought this is the dumbest thing so far this year.
UNTIL.... PETA steps in it again.
My first thoughts were "Are they serious?" then I realized they have no sense of humor and no sense of reality. A fly? They are crying over a fly?
People, if this doesn't top the political correctness hall of shame I'm not sure what would.

I envy Obama; I wish I could snap a fly out of the air like that. These things are driving me nuts.!.
