Lived in the south all my life (65), heard it hundreds of times. One time my dad was going to by an old pickup that wouldn't run and had some flat tires. The owner had used gasoline to clean the old truck up said it was newer. My dad "You can put lipstick on a pig" but it still a pig, that hourse sh** is not a rose. So Mrs. Palin, things are said a little bit different, I would have said your polices are like a greased pig with lip stick.
