Okanagan Fall Wine Festival Kicks Off In Kelowna

For wine connoisseurs foodies and in British Columbia and beyond, the Okanagan Fall Wine Festival is tough to match as a North American attraction. It's an opportunity to indulge in the splendour of the season's harvest while the summer wanes, and Kelowna is indeed a hotbed for vineyards and farmlands alike. With 16 wineries and breweries in Kelowna alone, it's tough to even scratch the surface. Thankfully, there are a plethora of tastings organized.
For most attendees food and drink are the main attraction, but even the most gluttonous of us can't indulge without taking a break. Fortunately, there's much more for the intrepid traveller to take in while visiting Kelowna during the Okanagan Fall Wine Festival.Stocking up on fresh fruits and veggies at the local farmers' markets is a can't-miss opportunity, and there's an abundance of outdoors activity for people of all persuasions: hiking, biking, golfing, kayaking, and cruising the galleries and museums of Kelowna are all popular pursuits.
