Olivia Namath was arrested for possession of marijuana and alcohol on Sunday. Olivia Namath, 19, was pulled over for speeding at about 1 am. The police officer detected the smell of marijuana from inside of her car, conducted a search, and found a small bag of marijuana as well as 200 grams more in the trunk. The police also found an opened bottle of rum and 11 bottles of Miller Light.

Report from the police officer:

I APPROACHED THE VEHICLE AND MADE CONTACT WITH THE DRIVER WHO WAS IDENTIFIED AS OLIVIA NAMATH BY FL ID CARD. I DETECTED A SMELL THAT BASED ON MY TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE I BELIEVED TO BE MARIJUANA.

Olivia Namath said she did not know the pot was in her trunk. She was arrested and brought into the Palm Beach County Jail at about 4 a.m. for possession as well as intent to sell, and was later released on $3,000 bond.

Joe Namath was the quarterback for the New York Jets and Los Angles Rams. He was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1985.

So what!?!  What our children do is their busy.  Does not matter who their parents are and did or how popular they are.  It's just an unfortunate situation for Olivia.  I am sure she was raised with positive teaching for her to be a good citizen when she grew up.  Right now, she is considered a young adult or women and where she should be making the right choices.  They just don't know how they much they hurt the parents.  If they only knew....

My heart really goes out to any young person, especially this young woman, who is clearly crying out for help.  It is my prayer that thru this seemily unfortunate event that good comes out and she get the help that she needs and probably has long been "cried out for."
