This film was done as part of a school project where our students were exposed to the concept of embracing diversity by researching the similarities of the cultures of the world, what they learned is that people are pretty much the same even though they are different.

Can you tell us more about the project?

Yes, our students were all given images of war, poverty , oppression among other negative imagery. They were all asked what they thougt caused these types of tragedies. The class discussion eventually centered around differences in peoples culture, religion, etc. After reasearching the differences, the kids started to see how much alike we all are in some tiny ways. They decided to make a film about the commonalities. Although they found many similarities, they made a theme around music and dance.

we are pleased that you like it
