Opening Ceremonies Kick-Off at the Lincoln Memorial
The President-elect will be kicking off the star-studded inaugural celebration this afternoon, Jan. 18, on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial with a free concert: We Are One: The Obama Celebration at the Lincoln Memorial.
This is a partial list of performers:
Beyonce, Mary J. Blige, Bono, Garth Brooks, Sheryl Crow, Renee Fleming, Josh Groban, Herbie Hancock, Heather Headley, John Legend, Jennifer Nettles, John Mellencamp, Usher Raymond IV, Shakira, Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, will.i.am, and Stevie Wonder.
The public can hear the President-elect speak and watch live performances on HBO. It’s free for non-subscribers starting at 2:30 pm ET, or on HBO.com. HBO will be presenting an encore performance from 7:00 - 9:00 pm ET/PT.

Thank you so much Blue Crush for recommending and commenting :=) It sure is freezing cold, notice how all those performers bundled up during their rehearsals yesterday... It will be harder for the attendants since they've to stand in the cold air...
