I have always wanted to play guitar - I just don't think I have it in me. Last month I discovered Guitar Hero and now I remember why I wanted to learn to play 20 odd years ago.

I learned today that Les Paul has died - his guitar and dream changed the way we listen to music and most of my favourite bands and guitarists use the Les Paul. It sounds great and looks cool.

I wish I could play or could afford a real Les Paul - for now my plastic Guitar Hero controller will have to do.

RIP Les Paul, thank you for your contribution to music - I am sure my music collection would be very diffferent if it wasn't for you.
