Misudco, what a nice gesture you plan to do for the family! You put your question here at the picture rather than at the article site. If you pose your question at the article site, perhaps some of the readers would have answered your question. I do not have their contact information, but if I was trying to contact the family, I would check with some of the police oversight groups or civil rights groups and inquire which funeral home has the body, saying that you want to send a contribution. You need not announce what your contribution would be, but it may get you the info you need. I'll try for you and get back to you, OK?

I agree that YouTube would be a good outlet for the musical tribute you made for Oscar Grant. Grant was funeralized on January 7. Approximately 1,100 people attended his funeral. Riots followed. The CNN riot footage is at the article for this picture just above MARY'S COMMENTARY.
