After the red carpet the Oscar Ceremony will start and this year it seems to be anyones' guess as to who will win the Best Picture award, especially since there are 10 pictures up for Best Picture this year.
Also making things interesting this year is the battle for the Best Director award between James Cameron and his ex-wife Kathryn Bigelow. James Cameron directed the blockbuster Avatar, while Kathryn Bigelow directed what some call 'the underdog', The Hurt Locker.
The 82nd Academy Awards are being hosted by two hosts this year, Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin. With a show that can run up to four hours, the role of the host is very important and it is hoped that two entertainers will in fact be better than one.
For a full list of nominations, check the Academy Awards website, but who do you think is going to win at the Oscars this year? Will it be Avatar? Or Hurt Locker? Sandra Bullock? Morgan Freeman?
