'OUR FUTURE IS HISTORY' – THE BOOK THEY TRIED TO BAN

Reading various articles on the internet and having a good number of friends in Cornwall, some of whom have been arrested by the police for being Cornish activists but released without charge, I noticed there was one common factor. During every police search, one particular book was seized by the police – ‘Our Future is History’ by John Angarrack.

Out of interest and following a bit of research, I noticed that this book is fairly easily obtained from many outlets and so I decided to send for a copy.

When it arrived, the cover alone was enough to kindle interest. It depicts a picture of Cornwall, covered with the flag of Saint Piran with a dagger being pushed through its centre. The hand holding the dagger has a sleeve visible and it is marked ‘English National Curriculum’, ‘English Tourist Board’, ‘SW England RDA’, ‘Church of England’ and ‘English Heritage.’

The book is subtitled ‘Identity, Law and the Cornish Question.’

Trembling should my door be kicked down by armed police, I started to read this well researched 342 page, hard backed volume and to examine its enclosed maps and drawings. I discovered it follows an earlier book by the same author, ‘Breaking the Chains’ which sadly appears to be no longer available except in exchange for a huge sum of money on eBay.  

As I read on, I became increasingly amazed at the web of lies and deceit surrounding Cornwall as page after page revealed the conspiracy between Prince Charles, the English establishment, the educational system, the Church and even map makers to quite literally remove Cornwall from the map. Charles, Duke of Cornwall draws a massive income from his Duchy of Cornwall and is clearly implicated in a hate campaign directed at the Cornish people.

I was further amazed to see how maps have been doctored down the years to eliminate the ‘British’ Channel and replace it with the ‘English’ Channel, to show Cornwall as being part of England when it very apparently is not, to show that Cornwall has an ancient ‘English’ history when really, its very existence as a country pre dates the creation of an English state by hundreds and hundreds of years.

Having read the book, cover to cover, I was left feeling rage at the English establishment. I was left agreeing with the comment on the back cover ‘alarmingly, what sounds like a work of fiction is actually a carefully researched, well argued, fully referenced work of fact.’ More strange than the ‘X Files’ series, I could not put this book down.

This book enjoys cult status in Cornwall and elsewhere and is to be found on many bookshelves in that land. So well researched is it, that it is even used by the University in Cornwall.  I can well see why the establishment don’t like what it says. It is extremely critical of the English legal system amongst other bodies. It shows how the English state is attempting to destroy a national group, the Cornish, and how it defrauds them of their social, political, cultural, economic and political rights.

Don’t be seen with this book in Cornwall!
