While filming a set for BET show 106 & Park rapper P. Diddy was throwing fake money into the crowd and inadvertantly lost his ring in the process. The name-fickle Puff Daddy, Puffy, Sean Combs, Sean' Diddy' Combs, er, Diddy preceded to shut down the cameras and announce that the ring was somewhere in the crowd, who were then asked to get on their knees to be frisked and searched. The entire 160 person crowd was searched but to no avail as Diddy was not able to recover the $20,000 ring.

It was not clear which of the rapper's rings disappeared at the CBS studios on West 57th Street, but a staffer told the audience it was worth $20,000.

The ring flew off the notorious White Party host's hand as he was throwing wads of money into the crowd: the majority fake but approximately $25 to $100 worth of singles mixed in.

"He ain't getting' it back," one witness said. "Someone pocketed that, and they probably took it to the nearest jeweler."

After the search, Diddy finished the show one $20,000 ring lighter as scheduled and even took to Twitter saying, "The craziest shit just happened to me lol I guess its shittin on me season . . . Enjoy it while it lasts!!!!! lol life is crazy!" Proving once again his life really is as absurd as you don't want to believe it is. But audience members weren't quite so carefree with their 140 characters or less saying things like, "[W]hen it was over, diddy held us hostage lookin for his lost ring. dont like him no more!!!"and "Ok diddy lost his ring . . . and now there frisking all the kids like this is rikers lite."

Staff members began tearing down the set in search for the bling and BET confirmed that metal detectors were used and that no one was detained for the pilfering.

Have you not read the Constitution yourself?  It does not regulate the acts of individuals, government yes, individuals no.What happened here very well may be illegal and I hope those who were detained get a good lawyer, but the action was not un-Constitutional.
