THE PAGAN CHRIST (Update)
A documentary is underway to disprove the bible and the existance of Jesus Christ. Perhaps it is all a myth, perhaps if found true, this may also disprove Jesus's other religious imaginary friends such as Mohamhed, Budda, Moses, David and others whom Jesus was to have known. Certainly whatever the findings people will still have their own conclusions and beliefs, while billions wonder if there is a God how come the worlds misery is not cured by divine intervention.
Monty Python's movie the "Life of Brian" in the late 70's tried to put it all into perspective, as a lifestyle more than a religion, resulting in religious groups, churches, the vatican protesting it's movie release. After all if it is proven I know a few hundred million clerics of all religions who will soon find unemployment not to their liking in a rich lifestyle they wish to maintain. Not to mention Toy, Merchandise and Food manufacturers who produce many of the things used by all religious celebrations. Certainly bad for business.
Update: After watching the program it was certainly an eyeopener, they show and translate Ancient Egyptian Hieroglyphics in Egypt that state without a doubt the telling of a Virgin Birth, a Son of God being born, disciples etc and pretty much everything the bible states, unfortunately the Virgin Mary is actually Egyptian Goddess Isis and Jesus was Horus and this story was told 2,000 years before Christ was born. When the bible was being written Christain heirarchy took artistic license and put this story in it's place. As for me believe what you wish to believe, I am going out to buy the book and read more about this.
What a mind f**K, certainly needs further study, I wonder why since this was well known 100's of years ago by scholars why it was never revealed? Oh wait the Pope and the Churches wouldn't like Heretics revealing that tidbit of truth to reach their flock. In the meantime, this new view certainly will bring Christans closer together knowing their religious beliefs were based on a far older cultural and religious writings.

There are 2.1 billion Christians on the planet – roughly one third of the entire human population. At the heart of their religion is the New Testament and the birth, life, death, and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. To Christianity, the written word is the glue that binds the faith of its followers.
So, what if it could be proven that Jesus never existed? What if there was evidence that every word of the New Testament – the cornerstone of Christianity – is based on myth and metaphor?
Tom HarpurBased on Tom Harpur’s national bestseller, The Pagan Christ examines these very questions. During his research, Harpur discovered that the New Testament is wholly based on Egyptian mythology, that Jesus Christ never lived, and that – indeed – the text was always meant to be read allegorically. It was the founders of the Church who duped the world into taking a literal approach to the scriptures. And, according to Harpur, this was their fatal error – and the very reason Christianity is struggling today.
The mission of The Pagan Christ is not to accelerate Christianity’s slow demise, but to breath new life into its holy book and, in the process, bring the world a richer, more spiritual faith.

All accredited archaeologists, Egyptologists and historians, adamantly deny this. Even tho the evidence stares them in the face.
