TruemorsThe paintbrushes and beads were put up on New Year's Day by Marie Roberts, the artist who paints the banners for Coney Island USA. She told me the paintbrushes represent hope and a fresh start. the beads are more complicated, they have bad energy from 2008, and need to be out in the air to dissipate it.
