Pants On The Ground is still an internet hit with remixes and 'General' Larry Platt making TV appearances, but despite his call for help in regards to people stealing his song, Platt is saying that the trend of stealing Pants On The Ground is now disrespectful to the civil rights movement and to Martin Luther King.

Platt said the trend was disrespectful to the civil rights movement that he was a part of.
"It's disrespectful to MLK (and) Joseph Lowery," he said.

Although Platt recently performed on morning talk show "The View," he said he had not heard from anyone at "American Idol."

Platt says he is still being taken advantage of and he's asking for the help of a copywriter.

Apparently Pants On The Ground is not a new song developed just for American Idol, Platt said he has been singing it for about five years now.

General Larry Platt is not actually a general either, he was never in the armed forces.
