From 18 March to 13 July 2009, National Galleries "Grand Palais" in Paris will host the exhibition The Great World of Andy Warhol. Rich with 250 pieces, this collection aims to make its unprecedented wealth multiplier effect dear to the American artist.

Andrew Warhol, whose real name, was born in 1928 in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. After studying at Carnegie Institute, the young man made a name quickly in the middle of the advertising sign and then the name of Andy Warhol. The boundless ambition, status as an illustrator, Andy Warhol acquires the artist in 1950.

The retrospective devoted to the national galleries "Grand Palais" brings together for the first time a considerable body of tables. This ambitious exhibition, billed as a meeting place of the cultural season in 2009, is expected to enter through the most significant works of the artist's developments, portraits made in his workshop to the Factory his photographic and film productions.
