American socialite and actress Paris Hilton and her boyfriend Cy Waits were assaulted by a man, when the two were heading towards the courtroom in Van Nuys, California. The attacker grabbed Cy from his back, when the two were just walking towards the courtroom.

Fortunately, their bodyguards acted immediately by grabbing the man and handing him over to the cops. Reports said that the attacker was James Rainford, who had once trespassed onto Hilton’s property. Rainford was even arrested last October for messing with her security guards.

This time Paris and her boyfriend had approached the court for her case against another man who had also trespassed onto Hilton’s property. The man had allegedly broken in to the property with a knife.

After the incident the actress tweeted narrating about the incident to her followers on the social networking site. After James was arrested, the alleged argued with the cops that he was actually in love with Paris and that Paris’s father had given him permission to marry her. James claimed that Ricky Hilton had blessed him and had said that he could marry her daughter and concluded his statement by confessing his love for the actress.

Yeah, good luck with that!
