Doug Reinhardt, Paris Hilton's arm candy for the last five months has been dumped, and Paris wasted no time in seeking solace in the arms of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Reinhardt apparently didn't even know until he received a call from E! about it and he said 'no, that's not true, everything is ok between us'.

However, that turned out not to be true and only a few hours later, Paris Hilton was spotted at MyHouse with Cristiano Ronaldo.

They left at 3am and went to Paris' sister, Nicky Hilton's house and Cristiano stayed until 5am.

Meanwhile, Doug had to spend the night with his guy friends.

Reinhardt was spotted dining at sushi hotspot Nobu with "The Hills" stars Brody Jenner and Frankie Dalgado Wednesday night after the split.

He'll have time to rebound in peace - Hilton is headed to Dubai to begin work on the new season of "Paris Hilton's My New BFF."

Obviously Doug Reinhardt had no chance with paris.

However, I am surprised with the ronaldo/paris link.

Perhaps, Paris wanted to eat sushi foods. Well, that would be great if I see her eating this kind of food. Anyway, June 18th was purported as being National Sushi Day, even though no one had ever heard of it before. But, what does this Sushi day mean exactly? The great thing about sushi, perhaps, it’s more than some other types of ethnic foods. Most people who have written about it so far have all pointed out that they had never heard of National Sushi Day, and that it is probably spurious.  It seems to be one of those internet holidays, made up by marketing departments to get people to buy stuff – it's not as if that isn't a distinct possibility.  At any rate, those who go for it might just line up some payday advances and file into Japanese restaurants and get in on celebrating the suspicious National Sushi Day.

Paris and Ronaldo?!  I'm not sure that's a very sensible couple but I guess it puts together to 'celebs' that are getting plenty of exposure at the moment. It will keep the newspapers busy anyway I guess.  GregS
