'Drunk Text': Paris Hilton's New Song Proves She Hates Us
Paris Hilton has a new song called "Drunk Text". You can see the video and check out the lyrics below, but be warned: it's bad. It's really bad. Paris Hilton supplies the vocals for a one-off single by DJ/production duo Manufactured Superstars (Irony? One suspects).
One of the lyrics is "no-one is safe in the Twittersphere", and we're pretty sure that that's about to play out in real life.
In an article for MTV called "Paris Hilton Poses Topless for FHM", the celebutante says, "I've been working on the album with lots of other top DJs for a while now and I think people will be really surprised. It's very modern and very catchy; perfect party music."
If this song is an indication of the new album's content, then we're in serious trouble. We've skipped Rebecca Black and gone straight into Shira/"Pound My Muffin" territory. We can't even call this singing. It's like Paris Hilton wants to be Malcolm McLaren or something.
Paris Hilton also said that she wants to become a DJ. Fine, that's cool. Just don't sing or record a song of your own. Ever, ever again.
Maybe someone could have made "I'll be damned if I end up in some late diner after this with last night's lingerie in my purse- It's just a drunk text" work as a lyric, but we're not seeing it yet.
The Paris Hilton video below is 3:48 in duration. We're pretty sure you won't make it past 1:22.
Maufactured Superstars? Guys, this isn't funny. It's mean. As Paris Hilton intones on the track itself, "Are you fucking kidding me?"
