Paris Hilton Storms Out of Interview with ABC's Dan Harris

Letting her temper get the best of her, Paris Hilton walked out of an interview with Dan Harris from “ABC News” this week.

The “Simple Life” babe seemed annoyed when Harris kept asking her if her “moment had passed” and if she felt overshadowed by Kim Kardashian.

After walking out of the room, Miss Hilton finally agreed to continue the interview. She declared, "I've been doing this for 15 years now, so it's been a long time … so just like any other business person or someone in the industry, it's always important to reinvent yourself and come up with new projects."

She added, "So many people that are rich do nothing. I like being able to do what I want, to buy whatever I want, and to not ask for permission like some of my other friends who are adults but live like children."

As for her flighty disposition on “The World According to Paris,” Hilton explained, "It's the character that I developed for The Simple Life. They wanted a character that was an airhead with a baby voice, and so that's a character that I do, and I had to do it for five seasons. And so sometimes when I'm on camera I'll revert back to it, just because I'm so used to it because I did it for so long."

Stepping out for a promotional appearance last week (July 12), Paris Hilton filmed a spot for "Extra" with host Mario Lopez at The Grove in Los Angeles.

The 30-year-old socialite, dressed in a curve-hugging pink dress, large pink necklace and black patent pumps - took time snap a few pictures with onlookers before bumping into on-duty security guard, Patrick Schwarzenegger.

During the interview, Paris opened up about the alarming Fourth of July weekend stalker appearance at her Malibu beach house. She said that it's one of the few times she was actually happy the paparazzi were present, telling Mario, "Even though they're annoying sometimes, I'm so thankful they were there because who knows, he could have totally walked in."

Hilton also admitted that her latest stalker run-in has left her feeling a little uneasy, as she confessed, "Yeah I am scared. There are so many crazy people out there. I'm always watching behind my back. Especially when it's your home and it's your private space where no one's supposed to come. You feel really violated.”
